This summer, Daniel is offering a unique opportunity for children to engage daily in a mindful movement camp that uses a variety of movement techniques to cultivate body awareness, concentration, coordination, strength, flexibility, self confidence, agility, creativity and playfulness. Each day will be creatively designed with playful activities that include elements of yoga, meditation, parkour, martial arts, breakdance, animal movements and games as methods to cultivate mindfulness of our bodies, emotions and environments. One of the aims of the mindful movement camp is to encourage collaboration and community, rather than competition, and to cultivate the use of imagination and awareness. The camp will take place in a spacious martial arts dojo outfitted with tatami mats and fantastic movement equipment.

This camp takes place at a spacious martial arts dojo, Kali Majapahit, which has a tatami floor and plenty of props for fantastic mindful movement games. There is also a changing room and toilets within the studio.

Coach Daniel
The Mindful Movement Camp is facilitated entirely by Daniel Sonic Rojas, who has an incredibly experienced background in movement and mindfulness art forms, and who is internationally recognised for his unique aptitude to engage with children and adults to easily translate these meaningful modalities.
What skill level does my child need to have?
None! Daniel can work with children of any movement skill level. There will be an assistant coach in the group as well to help support and monitor all activities.
What should my child wear and bring?
Wear clothing that is comfortable and safe for movement. No shoes are necessary as all shoes will be left at the front entrance. Please pack a water bottle and a snack for your child. Snacks ideally should be healthy!
How are we affected by Phase restrictions?
We will follow the standard guidelines given by SportsSG and the Singapore Government. In most cases, we are still allowed to meet indoors with social distancing and cleaning of equipment. In the event that we have to cancel our camp, full refunds will be given.
