whAT IS ALLIYANA MOVEMENT?

‘Alliyana’, derived from the Quechua language of South America, means to heal, cure or recover. Alliyana Movement is a unique art form that presents simple, yet powerful forms of movement to heal and evolve the connection to our body, mind and spirit. This integrative and holistic modality will inspire you to connect more deeply to your physical & energetic faculties through dynamic, embodied & mindful movement. On a more subtle level, Alliyana Movement helps to inspire energy, clear stagnation and prevent & rehabilitate injuries, giving access to your deeper self.

Invigorate yourself with a renewed connection to breath, organic movements and sustainable energy practices that explore mobility, locomotion, coordination, agility, strength and flexibility of all your faculties.

What are the essential pillars for an Alliyana Movement Practice?

  • Connection to Breath

  • Mobility of the Spine & Joints

  • Pelvic Balancing

  • Organic Movement

  • Conscious Core Strengthening

  • Communication with Your Body

  • Sustainability of Energy

  • Interplay of Movement & Stillness

How do you explore these concepts in an Alliyana Movement Practice?

Each practice is integrative, holistic & mindful; the exploration of the concepts will always include Feeling, Self-witnessing, Mobility, Locomotion, Coordination, Aligning, Flexibility, Strengthening and Being.
